The Ngece Rinjeu Foundation (NRF) operates under a transparent and accountable management framework designed to ensure effective delivery of its mission and sustainable impact across all programs.

Board of Directors

The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors drawn from Kenya, Rwanda, and Europe, representing expertise in environment, education, social development, and enterprise.

• The Board provides strategic leadership, oversight, and policy guidance.
• Members serve a five-year renewable term and are committed to upholding the Foundation’s vision and values.

Trustee

The Trustee of the Foundation is the patriarch of the Ngece family, who serves as the moral and cultural custodian of the Foundation’s legacy and philosophy — inspired by Dr. Ngece Rinjeu’s vision of education, health, and empowerment for all.

Executive Management

Day-to-day operations are managed by a Secretariat based at the Foundation’s headquarters in Chuka, Kenya, and supported by a Liaison Office in Nairobi.
The Executive team oversees the implementation of programs, coordination of projects, financial management, and communication with stakeholders.

Program Directors and Staff

NRF has a team of qualified and dedicated Program Directors and staff members who manage the Foundation’s four key programs:

1. Ngece Rinjeu Rescue & Empowerment Centre

2. Women and Youth Enterprise Program

3. Clean Energy for Education & Health Program

4. Ngece Rinjeu Scholarship Fund

Each program is led by a director responsible for planning, implementation, reporting, and collaboration with partners and beneficiaries.

Partnerships and Oversight

NRF promotes inclusive governance, ensuring gender balance and representation in leadership. The Foundation also collaborates with international partners, community organizations, and government agencies to maximize impact and maintain accountability.
