Ngece Rinjeu Rescue & Empowerment Centre
A safe space offering refuge, care, and empowerment for abandoned and vulnerable children in Tharaka Nithi and Meru Counties.
The Centre also serves as an Innovation and Skills Hub, equipping youth with vocational and entrepreneurial skills to build better futures.
Ngece Rinjeu Scholarship Fund
Education is at the heart of our mission.
Through this fund, we support bright but financially challenged students to access quality education at both primary and tertiary levels.
Our scholarships give hope and opportunity to children who would otherwise drop out due to poverty.
Women & Youth Enterprise Program
This program empowers women and youth through microfinance, table banking, and small enterprise support.
By applying the merry-go-round savings model, participants access small loans and grants to start clean energy and agribusiness ventures — improving household incomes, education, and health outcomes.
Clean Energy for Education & Health Program
We promote clean, renewable energy technologies such as solar lanterns, biogas, and energy-efficient cookstoves.
Through school- and community-based projects, we enhance access to lighting, clean cooking, and water purification — while reducing deforestation and carbon emissions.
